It is a large group of activities that are usually carried out outdoors, and adapted to the age of the trainees. It is called learning from difficult experience, and is based on the principles of experiential learning. These activities create a great deal of commitment among group members, and work to identify and achieve common goals. This activity can be carried out at different levels, appropriate to age, gender, and the values that are required to be passed on by the group facilitators.
These activities are a powerful tool in reflecting group dynamics and developing individual and group skills, including, for example: issues of self-confidence, improving self-image, encouraging initiative and independence, developing quality leadership, working in a team spirit, taking personal and collective responsibility, dealing with complex situations, improving decision-making processes, developing and encouraging creative thinking in addition to listening skills.
